We have had so much going on lately. It has been hard to keep up with it all , let alone blog about it. So here is a short summary of all that has been going on for the last few months.
Bryan has been spending most of his free time helping to build his parents new home.
Charlie had a Bithday!! He is Two... I can't believe it. His birthday is April 20th. (That shows how behind I am.)
Dying Easter eggs.
Easter Morning.
Savannah was blessed on May 3rd.
I took some more pictures of her in her dress about a month later.
My mom, me, and Savannah were all blessed in the same booties.
We spent a couple days in salt lake. While we were there we went to the zoo. The boys spent as much time playing in the water fountains as they did looking at the animals.
We also went out to Thanksgiving Point.
I know she is little, but I couldn't wait any longer. I had to get her ears pierced.
Yes, Charlie broke his arm. Bryan, Makade, and Charlie were acting a little too crazy on the trampoline and this was the result. It has been a nightmare, Charlie is the messiest boy in the world. It has been hard to keep that thing even remotely clean and dry. He still has to wear it for probably another month.
They loved watching the parade.
Savannah slept the whole time.

OUR BABY GIRL!
Our Savannah Ann Massey was finally born on March 14 at 10:40 p.m. she weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. and was 18 1/2 in. long. Everything went really well. I went into labor by myself (which I didn't do with my other two so I was pretty excited.) When I got to the hospital I was dilated to a 5 and I had her about 3 1/2 hours later. She is just a tiny little thing, but don't worry she is very strong. She already rolled over while she was on my parents couch...twice. I don't know how, and she hasn't done it since. She definitely has a temper as well. There are certain things she doesn't like, for example having a bath, getting her clothes changed, having her diaper changed... pretty much everything you do with newborns. and she really lets you know about it. But for the most part she is just a sweet little baby. It is fun having a girl around, my boys think she is so great. I have to watch both of them with her. The first day we brought her home Makade was eating cookies and he thought he was doing something nice be sharing with her. After that we had to have a discussion about how babies can't chew.
Today she had her 2 week check-up and she weighs 7lbs. 7 oz. and is 20 in. long. So she is growing and things are going good. Now if I can just convince her to sleep through the night...
Makade holding Savannah for the first time.
Way more interested in eating breakfast.
3 days old.

Chocolate Anyone??
I was making a few treats around Christmas time, and I left the room for 2 minutes. When I got back this is what I found. Luckily the pan was cooled down. I need to start being more careful, my kids can smell chocolate from a mile away!!
They are so proud of themselves!!

Our Christmas
We had a great Christmas this year! We had a Massey family party a couple of days before Christmas and we went to my Grandparents on Christmas Eve. We also saw Santa at our ward Christmas party. Makade was nervous about sitting on his lap, but did it anyway so he could make sure Santa knew what he wanted (which changed every day). Charlie wanted nothing to do with Santa. I wasn't that surprised, I don't think a lot of one year olds love him. (at least mine haven't) But I was surprised at just how much he didn't like him. He wouldn't even touch the little bag of treats he got. He just threw it even though it has candy in it!! Bryan and I stayed up way too late on Christmas eve being "Santa's little helpers" not realizing how long it was going to take to put together all the "fun" things the kids got. We decided next year we are definitely going to downsize the loot. As excited as Makade was to wake up the next morning I thought for sure we would be waking up early but he didn't wake up until about 7 of so. The kids were so excited to see what Santa had brought them, until I told Charlie that Santa had brought all of these things trying to get him to see that Santa wasn't so bad after all. After that he wasn't so excited and he didn't touch his stuff much. I think it made him mad! It was a little funny. But they definitely got spoiled between Santa and two sets of Grandparents they ended up with way to much. I'm just glad they had fun. The best part of the day for me though was just relaxing with Bryan. We haven't had a day where we didn't have to do anything or go anywhere in such a long time that I don't even remember the last time we did that. It was a great day.
